We have some tunes to add to your Christmas playlists!
We here at Fifth Element loves a good Christmas playlist. We love all the classics - Let it Snow, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and of course Mariah Carey - but there might be a few new ones this year as well.
Two of our lovely artists have released some absolute crackers of Christmas songs in the run-up to the festive season this year - Hilary Roberts and Furnace and the Fundamentals.
Hilary Roberts’ ‘Christmas With You’ is a rollicking flurry of sleigh bells and a brass section; a song which sings about the true meaning of Christmas. Not presents and materialistic gains, but the pure joy of spending time with your loved ones. The video sees her decking the halls, rocking around the Christmas tree, and making baked goods with her lover.

But that’s not all… Christmas ballads not the one for you? We at Fifth Element have you covered! Furnace and the Fundamentals are taking “ROCKing around the Christmas tree” very seriously this year, with an absolutely cracking Christmas cover of Rage Against the Machine’s ‘Killing in the Name’ - but with a twist… Instead of the usual lyrics, this version has been changing to sing and rap about the joy of gift-giving, and the video shows children all around the world getting excited about getting exactly what they asked Santa for this year!
