With SXSW cancelled and Coachella postponed until October this year, it seems there will not be a corner of the music industry left untouched by COVID-19.

The impact of the cancellation of events such as SXSW has already affected acts such as Bang Bang Romeo, who we recently welcomed to our roster.

SXSW is a major event in the music industry calendar which allows smaller acts to showcase their talents in a prestigious setting. In the past, the White Stripes and Alabama Shakes have made names for themselves at the festival, going on to create some of the most iconic music of the moment. 

The loss of a platform like this will set back the careers of bands such as Bang Bang Romeo and others who are on the verge of breaking into the mainstream.
