As the world moves towards isolation and quarantine to protect our physical health, it’s our mental health which is likely to be left by the wayside. Luckily for us, Taylor Castro has just released ‘Girl, Afraid’, a song about her own struggles with OCD. It could not have come at a better time. 

In the run up to the release of this stellar song, taken from her upcoming album of the same name, Taylor Castro encouraged her followers on Instagram to share their own mental health stories, using hashtags taken directly from the song’s poignant lyrics - #beaprincessagain and #royalsoul. In doing so, Castro created a supportive and accepting online community, the sort of which will be all the more appreciated in the weeks and months to come.
